good stuff bro'

as i said on AIM this episode was the best yet. some bits dragged on but the rest was good especialy the fight scene.

the eggs were good too but yuo told me where they were lol.

probabbly the best time trial yet

i especially like mcbeans parody of kill bill but luis was probably the best entry his animations are soooooooo smooth

what happned to the time trials

Great stuff....

Again, what greatness this movie is...
Man, the humour was somewhat childish..in an odd way, but I found myself in hysterics. Which..I'm not often..¬¬

Anyway, it was great work, the preloader was great, the credits were great...you need to work on what's inbetween though ;)
Just kidding, I loved it. And working at such a high frame rate, whilst producing such smooth animation...WITH CLAY...well, you never cease to amaze me, keep it up.

One problem, the running and screaming scene didn't link very well with the 'hiding behind the tree' scene. I'm appauled that this wasn't prefect >:|

Loved it...

This was a great peice of work. You used numorous camera angles well.
The graphics were great, you used gradients really effectively, and you used your own unique style too.
The storyline was good too, I loved it. You even managed to pack a bit of humour in there. "Son of protein" - Good stuff.
The animation, was also great for the most part, I feel some bits could have been worked on, and would have looked better if you'd have used a higher frame rate. (For example the walking animation from the front veiw).
Sounds were good, you had voices in there, although a foreign language, you subtitled them, and left the text there long enough for us to read.

It was a great peice of work. Keep it up.

Thanks for the kind words.
The gradient were a last minute thing the original just had simple colours which made it really flat so I experimented with gradients to make it catchier. As for the sound it was just people talking throw in reverse and then pitchedshift to get different characteristics (ala Twin Peaks)

cheers

Eugh...

Don't think it deserves the mark it's got.
Best thing you got there was your voice acting, congrats to whoever did that, although, even at points it sounded as if the voice actor wanted to laugh rather than read his lines.
The drawings were ok...using two different tools to draw your backgrounds/foregrounds with never works well. Use one tool and stick with it..
It looked as if you only used 1 layer...? Learn the ins and outs of flash properly, you'd be suprised how much it helps. Somtimes you had bits of arms, or bits of the phone left stuck to your characters head, or that counter. It looked scrappy and unclean.
Animation wise, it was fairly poor. That bar just suddenly appeared on the screen. The tweens used weren't used as effectively as they could have been.
Also, holding one frame and having a minute or so speech gets dull. You could have at least had some side screen veiw of what was going on over the other end of the phone.

That all said and done, the only reason this got a high mark was because people automatically voted high on it because they saw it was part of a series and that all the other submissions passed judgement.

Some bits were ok, some bits needed seriously working on...keep going, and good luck with future projects.

Pretty Good....

The background(s) were fairly amazing, however, you lost a lot of points with that character, he didn't seem to fit in with the background, nor anything else he interacted with.
The animation was smooth, you kept one camera angle which worked well. The text effects were good, you had a moderatly well thought out plot. It was short, but that was clearly the intention, and it worked well. (Alot of people moan about short flashes....just ignore them). Also, the filesize was kept low even after using audio, good job.
It was a good flash, and as I said, the only thing that dropped it's marks for me was that character, he just didn't fit.

Good work though, can't wait to see the next one.
Good luck with your future work too.

theMikey responds:

as i mentioned before the character first was just an animation test...
i was bored, colored him and built up background and other stuff around him..
think thats why he doesnt fit that well ;)
i'll work on that in episode 2 :)
THX 4 your review dude! :D

You R Saviour!!

You're the saviour!
5 from me Knox.
This was just great, good parody, great clay figures, good everything.
Loved it, I can't wait for more.

It lacks a certain something...

Something I can't put my finger on. It just dosen't seem to flow...
My only advice, is to sort those damn sounds out. They really were awful, if you sorted those out, then you'd be getting somewhere, they really were bad.

Heh

Ohhh man, I loved it, really made me laugh out loud, it was great. Keep 'em coming ^^

5/5 from me.

Great

Good drawings, nice animation - some bits choppy, but great in general. Unfortunatly kiddo, the guys on NG see "first flash" and immediatly click 0. And with a file size like that, it'll increase the chance of their doing so. In conclusion, I don't think this flash will get the mark it deserves.
Good flash though, next time, try compressing your audio.

RPin responds:

I already compressed it. I didn't know it was such a serious matter it would make people rate me so low. By being rushy, I just blew the chance I had to be in the front page. Still, it doesn't matter. I'm happy to see people liked it and want to see more from me in the future. Thanks for the advice!
